I love ceramics. I love how you can add metals and minerals that change colors, similarly to glass. I focused mainly on mixing different types of iron and cobalt to get different combinations. I experimented with metals that are commonly found in New York State soil. I also wanted to make work that could be touched and have an interesting texture.
