For this work, I was the Assistant Director, so I made sure all members of our crew were safe, well fed, and not working more than 12 hour days. Because we had many shots outside of a moving vehicle, we did numerous practices to make sure we were following protocol to ensure no one was hurt. Additionally, I helped scout different locations, and made sure our talent was in the right place at the right time. For shots where our Director of Photography was going backwards or walking around, I was always spotting him, and making sure he did not fall or hurt himself. Overall, this project was an incredible opportunity to learn more from my peers outside of school, and I thoroughly enjoyed being on set. This project also challenged me to think about what types of roles I enjoy as an artist, and how I would like to create a reputation for myself as a creative with my classmates.
